ACTIVITY ASSISTANTS
*Hiring for both full and part-time for the Wood Mill Team in Lawrence!
ABOUT US:
Royal Health Group is a family-owned business dedicated to providing the highest standards of personal care for our residents in our skilled nursing facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Director of Activities in enhancing and supporting the residents’ intellectual, emotional, and spiritual interests, talents, and hobbies with individual or group activities.
Assist in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.
Assist in developing and planning the monthly program calendar.
Assist in developing a written plan of care for each resident’s activity program.
Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.
Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
Encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally socially, and spiritually.
Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of activity plans and resident assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare setting is a plus.
Experience working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia patients is a plus.
