Royal Health Group is looking for a motivated, passionate RN/LPN to join their team in North Reading!

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct the nursing assistants to ensure quality care is provided at all times

• Meet with nursing staff, as well as support personnel in planning the shifts services, programs, and activities

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician

• Complete assessments, care plans, treatments etc.

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required

• Perform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures

• Ensure and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and a positive environment

• Positive communication with residents, families, staff and outside providers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold a current nursing license for the state of Massachusetts (or Rhode Island)

• Prior long-term care experience preferred, but not required. New graduates welcome to apply

• Ability to assess and diagnose health care needs of residents

• Ability to communicate interdisciplinary plans to all care providers

• Knowledge and ability to assess effects of medications and treatments and monitor these effects to provide appropriate feedback to interdisciplinary team and medical managers

• Knowledge of resident rights and ability to apply this knowledge to protect and treat residents, staff and community
