What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterilization Technician position at Royal Oak Surgical Center?
Hiring a full time certified sterilization tech for our pediatric dental surgery center.
CRCST / CSPDT certification required. A background check and drug test is required as part of the hiring process, including marijuana.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Sterilize, disinfect, and sort instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials
- Adhere to correct sterilization and infection control policies and procedures
- Ensure treatment rooms are prepared
- Maintain sterility of sterile field
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
- Maintain records of sterilization processes
- Ensure safe patient care
Requirements:
- CRCST / CSPDT certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
