Senior Automation Engineer

Position Summary :

Provide technical support for site automation systems and network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with process controls and manufacturing systems. Generate recommendations and then develop / execute solutions to correct and resolve problems.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support for site automation systems and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with process controls and manufacturing systems. Generate recommendations and then develop / execute solutions to correct and resolve problems.
• Improve overall site integration between various systems.
• PLC and HMI coding and integration.
• PID loop creation, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Scoping out electrical requirements for various projects throughout the plant.
• Identify opportunities for business growth by assessing automation needs, recommending process improvements, and staying informed on emerging technologies (continuous improvement).
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
