About Us
Royal seeks a Marketing Specialist to join our Team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the development of winning proposals. This position involves coordinating and assisting with the preparation, submission, and tracking of proposals to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The secondary role will involve graphic design aspects to support marketing efforts, including presentations, social media, newsletters, and branded firmwide documents.
The Marketing Specialist can work out of any of our office locations: Lafayette, Thibodaux, New Orleans, or Baton Rouge.
Here's What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in preparing and formatting proposal documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and materials for proposals.
- Maintain and ensure consistency in proposal templates, with a focus on formatting and branding.
- Track proposal deadlines and ensure timely submission.
- Conduct research to support proposal content and strategy.
- Review and edit proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
- Organize and maintain proposal files and documentation.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather additional information.
- Preparation of presentations and other marketing materials, social media postings, and website updates.
- Assist in post-submission follow-up and tracking of proposal outcomes.
- Assist with the planning and execution of internal and external events.
The Criteria for Joining Our Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant and sufficient work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree requirement.
- Prior experience in the A/E/C Industry is preferred (3-5 years)
- Experience with Adobe CC Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
