Roswell Park Care Network is looking to hire a Prior Authorization Representative for our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible to provide accurate and complete data input for pre-certification requests, oral medications and procedures.

Brief Description of Duties:
- Obtain insurance verification, authorizations and pre-certifications.
- Schedule diagnostic imaging, injections and surgical procedures.
- Answer calls from physician offices and patients.
- Accurately enter required information into computer systems.
- Reviews structured data matched it against specified medical terms and diagnoses or procedure codes and follow established procedures for authorizing request or referring request for further review
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CPT, ICD9 and ICD10
- 1 year of experience in Prior Authorization in any medical specialty- Oncology is a plus
- Prior experience with Windows and MS Office software required
It is also important to have critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as being a team player and being professional at all times.
