Essential Responsibilities
- Navigate to projects including driving long distances in a safe manner
- Work in inclement weather, when necessary
- Responsible for all equipment assigned to you
- Confirm the job is correct when you leave the field
- Be respectful to all clients
- Responsible for upholding company values
- Utilize Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams
- Properly store files and send email (going to an office is not required on most jobs)
Job Requirements
- Experience as Party/Crew Chief including operating TSC3, TSC7 and the Network for local Construction and Land surveying
- Background in Construction layout including building staking, parking staking, utilities staking, form board, final surveys, elevations certs and Boundary search.
- Calibration from the control points provided inside the DC for same day work.
- Experience with Trimble R8 and R10 units, Instruments such as Conventional and Robots, level loops that close, and establishing benchmarks for Alta and construction jobs.
- Ability to run OPUS Solution, retrieve from heads and download to send to office.
- Calculations in the field if needed, offset points, bearing and distance and adjusting points if required.
