RSVP, Inc. supports people with disabilities with achieving competitive, integrated employment in their communities. Once employment is secured, often times our clients need on-the-job supports to learn all essential job duties, get to know their coworkers/supervisors, and build a routine with their work. The goal of this service is to support individuals with achieving independence in their career.
The Employment Specialist would provide the specific level of supports to each client based on their learning style, level of independence, preferences, and needs. The Employment Specialist would implement compensatory strategies, assistive technology, and other reasonable accommodations as needed.
Requirements:
This position requires you to work not only days but also nights and weekends. The schedule varies week to week depending on client work schedules. We prefer a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, or Social Work. However, consideration will be given for those who have college credits in a human services field but have not yet finished their degree.
Must have knowledge of the Supported Employment model, excellent organizational and clinical writing skills, and flexible schedule.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
