Material Handler - 1st Shift

The Material Handler is responsible for keeping the warehouse areas organized, unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving raw and rework materials for production.  Responsible for quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities

• Identify difference between final packaging.
• Properly make up boxes.
• Sample boxes and mark samples properly.
• Monitor in-feed and out-feed conveyors and insure proper movement of boxes.
• Maintain level in additive tanks.
• Update records on holding tanks on control room board.
• Keep up with levels of product in all holding tanks used.
• Maintains production materials storage area, including recording material transactions in inventory records and properly storing items.
• Perform all required machine cleaning.
• Document work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods.
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
