Job Description:
Perform and Coordinates accounting duties within our organization. The Accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
To be successful as an Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding Accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for reconciliations of (A/R, A/P, and cash)
- Daily Bank reconciliations
- Bi-weekly Payroll entries
- Month End Closing
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Perform other accounting duties as required
Work experience/other Requirements:
- An Accounting degree required
- 3 years full-cycle Accounting Experience
- General Ledger experience
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Income Statement Analysis
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and social skills
- Team player, organized, motivated, personable
- Commitment and ability to meet critical business deadlines
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge of an ERP system
