Rugged Trade is a local work wear store focused on serving the hard-working communities of Eastern New Mexico. We are a rapidly growing, family-owned company and are looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work in our Carlsbad distribution center. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with a proven track record of accurate and accountable receiving experience.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities include:
- Process incoming and outgoing product orders, including receiving deliveries, verifying them and preparing distribution shipments for other store locations
- Help maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
- Communicate upcoming shipment receiving dates to other departments and stores
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Follow inventory management processes and procedures
- Research and resolve issues that may arise with shipping or inventory
- Ensure adherence to inventory and retail systems
