What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Ruiz Family Physicians?
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work with our team of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners. The ideal candidate for the position will have an interest in providing patient access to primary care and will have prior primary care experience, working in a team environment. The candidate will need experience of least 3 years in patient primary care.
We are a busy family practice office that sees all ages and stages of life. We do not do OB care or inpatient hospital services. We do not prescribe chronic narcotic nor anxiolytic medications in our office. The successful candidate will oversee the coordination of all services offered by the primary care practice, perform assessments and diagnostic testing and develop care plans based on patient needs. We are particularly looking for a candidate to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health of patients.
- Conduct physical exams on patients.
- Order lab tests and X-rays.
- Develop treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications for patients.
- Communicate and collaborate with other physicians when a patient's condition is complex or needs specialist referral.
- Perform additional administrative duties.

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
