Summary: Running Rebels Community Organization is seeking a dynamic individual to provide intentional mentorship and after-school support to youth ages 12-21 years-old.
Title: Community Mentor
Position: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week)
Hours: Monday-Friday (11am-7pm), some late evenings and weekends
Pay: $18/hour

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional 1:1 and group mentoring to youth in school, community, and after-school settings
- Guide youth in identifying strengths, completing academic and personal goals, and increasing positive connections with community
- Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and other youth supports
- Maintain accurate documentation using online database
- Assist with recreational programming
- Support prevention education groups and campaigns
- Provide safe and reliable transportation
- Engage regular team meetings, professional development trainings, and agency events
Qualifications:
- Strong problem solving/conflict resolution skills
- Detail and team oriented
- Committed to ongoing growth and personal development
- Experience with online documentation systems, Microsoft Outlook
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field is desired but not required.
Requirement:
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Two years’ experience working with youth ages 12-21 years-old
