About Us: Ruoff is a dynamic and growing mortgage company committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to join our team and support our loan officers in running their business and originating loans.
Position Overview: The Loan Officer Assistant will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, helping loan officers manage their business effectively. This role involves processing loan files once they are under contract, assisting with marketing and prospecting activities, and maintaining clear communication with borrowers and partners throughout the loan process. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be eager to learn and grow within the company, and be comfortable interacting with borrowers and realtors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers with processing loan files from the point of contract to closing.
- Review and submit loan files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Help clear conditions after the loan comes out of underwriting.
- Communicate effectively with borrowers, realtors, and other partners to provide updates and request necessary items.
- Support marketing and prospecting activities to generate new business.
- Assist with various business-generating activities, including social media marketing and other outreach efforts.
- Maintain familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and partners.
- Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the mortgage or real estate industry is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to pursue a loan officer license is welcomed but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the company.
