Rural Psychiatry Associates is currently recruiting a Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in our Grand Forks office.
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for a number of clerical tasks including, but not limited to the following:
- Utilize a multi-phone line system to answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate staff or department;
- Make appointment reminder calls and reschedule appointments as needed;
- Utilize internal email and voicemail in order to relay messages to appropriate staff;
- Greet patients, visitors, vendors, mail carriers, delivery personnel, etc. in a prompt, friendly manner;
- Inquire about customer's needs, provide information and guidance as needed, and direct concerns appropriately;
- Distribute patient satisfaction surveys to patients;
- Distribute employment applications to prospective applicants;
- Schedule appointments for patients and vendors using AdvancedMD database;
- Print daily schedules and fee sheets;
- Create and revise print materials (policies, forms, materials, etc.) as needed;
- Compose letters and email from dictated messages as requested;
- Complete mass mailings;
- Prepare and distribute reports as requested
- Contact various vendors/merchants as requested for business needs;
- Assists with the coordination of the clinic's provider schedule;
- All other related duties as assigned.
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator must be proficient with the use of computers and various office equipment.
Candidate must be a high school graduate or the equivalent;
Salary : $17
