What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Surgical Technologist position at Rush Copley Medical Center?
$5K sign -on bonus for 1st shift – must be certified and have 2 years’ experience to qualify
Position Summary:
Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure.
This is a full-time position (7a-5:30p).
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
- Current American Heart Association CPR card
- Ability to function in emergency situations
- Ability to take call upon request needed.
Internal applicants and RUSH transfers are not eligible for the sign-on bonus
