The purpose of this position is to provide relationship management and service delivery for an assigned set of institutional clients, while closely collaborating with senior members of the Americas Institutional Relationship Management team. As one of the primary points of contact for clients, the Investment Analyst ensures a high level of client support in partnership with the assigned go-to-market team. The role necessitates a passion for investing, capital markets, and analysis, with a dedicated focus on delivering timely and high-quality client deliverables.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage and coordinate quarterly investment reviews, presentations, and client communication/meeting materials.
- Ensure accuracy of data and high quality in client deliverables.
- Monitor and support internal partners in delivering critical client requirements, including:
- Comprehensive investment policy review and development
- Investment implementation/rebalancing
- Manager evaluation
- Performance reporting and evaluation
- Portfolio asset allocation modeling
- Verbal and written communication to clients regarding markets, investments, projects, and analysis
- Provide support to senior members of the team in delivering strategic investment advice/solutions, conducting investment reviews, and addressing client inquiries.
- Research and communicate client manager performance and key drivers of their investment process, including explanations of Russell Investment's rankings. Collaborate with Senior Consultants, Russell Investment’s manager research, and clients to facilitate manager replacement searches.
- Coordinate the design and creation of customized analysis and responses to ad-hoc client and consultant inquiries.
- Serve as the primary contact for on-demand client calls and inquiries.
- Identify and prioritize critical client requests and needs.
- Act as a backup for client accounts, engaging in direct client interaction through in-person meetings, email, and telephone communications in collaboration with senior team members.
- Conduct and participate in meetings as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated and applied experience in investment-related areas such as market/economic impacts, investment analysis, or other relevant financial fields (2 years).
- Institutional investment management experience in client service, consulting, or portfolio management (2 years).
- Working knowledge of asset allocation theory, modeling, and performance measurement (2 years).
- Demonstrated ability in client relationship management (2 years).
- Proficiency in technology, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database capabilities (2 years).
- Ability to prioritize work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced degrees or interest in pursuing CFA charterholder preferred.
