Employment Type: Contract
Location: Carrollton, TX 75010
Duration: 4 months with possible extension or conversion
Pay range: $17/hr - $18/hr
Schedule: Mon – Fri
Key Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in B2B/B2G collections, dispute resolution, and accounts receivable (A/R) reconciliation.
- Proficiency in SAP FSCM (Dispute Management) and/or Salesforce.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and mathematical skills.
- Ability to resolve issues quickly, escalate when necessary, and work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Manage billing, statements, disputes, and returns, ensuring timely resolution per customer expectations.
- Conduct payment analysis, trace discrepancies, and correct billing documentation.
- Assist in training/mentoring new team members.
- Review high-profile/large accounts and ensure accuracy in A/R records.
- Serve as the go-to system resource for SAP/Salesforce and reconciliation processes.
- Identify payment discrepancies, initiate disputes, and follow up until resolution.
- Collaborate with Collections, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve credit applications and refunds.
- Generate and distribute A/R reports to internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and credit/collections best practices.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel proficiency required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of progressive A/R, reconciliation, or collections experience (B2B/B2G preferred).
