Job Title: Policy Specialist
Location: San Francisco (Tue, Wed, Thur - onsite)
Duration: 9 months contract
Description:
As a Policy Specialist, you make broad contributions by delivering full pieces of a policy launch and creating visible impact in policy work with minimal assistance. You design, execute, and advocate for policy, and engage with cross-functional partners to drive changes that promote trust and increase compliance. You independently identify and recommend creative ways to evolve or adapt solutions to defined policy problems. You collaborate within one or more teams to communicate knowledge related to a broad set of tasks. You demonstrate working knowledge of policy development and implementation.
Responsibilities include:
- Resolve cross-product, high-impact policy escalations with minimal guidance.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize policy issues that may, today or in the future, affect us, and understand the impact they may have on business and users.
- Establish, manage, and implement global product policy and standards with a regional focus and essential understanding of local culture and values, as well as community on product platforms.
- Work cross-functionally to support the development and launch of products, features and/or processes that promote user trust and uphold our policies with minimal guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors within one or more teams to develop and implement product policies and standards for a wide variety of our products.
- Participate in investigations and respond to inquiries from external parties, reviewing, processing, and responding to requests and/or real-world investigations on our users.
