Rustic Trades- Canton, GA is seeking a talented craftsmen to join our team! We're currently in need of an experienced full-time craftsman/builder to help us bring our high-end custom residential tables, barn doors, benches, cabinets and commercial millwork/furniture to life.

As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the building process, from selecting rough lumber to ensuring the final product is ready to be finished by the spray technician. You'll use a variety of woodworking tools, including saws, drills, hammers, jointers, planers, and sanders, and must be capable of lifting and moving heavy items. Additionally, you'll maintain a clean and organized workspace and work alongside our team to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for woodworking and creating finished products. We value attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Previous woodworking experience is desired, but we're willing to train the right candidate who has a high school diploma or GED and is at least 18 years old.

Job Description:

• Collaborate weekly with Production Manager regarding all materials needed
• Responsible for the complete build of all table tops and/or bases for each project
• Adhere to a two week lead time in order to maintain projected production goals
• Use all production systems (paper & electronic) to track build progress
• Keep build database up-to-date with dimensions of all standard and recommended custom sizes
• Follow written specifications for custom orders, creating design templates as needed
• Label all tops, legs, leaves, beams and benches of each order (i.e. side A/B)
• Ensure all responsibilities for quality assurance and control for each completed project
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of work space
• Update Production Manager on the required supplies, tools and maintenance needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 8:00 am - 5:30/6 pm, Monday-Thursday (closed on Fridays). The hourly rate is $14-18 based on experience.
