RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mental Health Screener responds to the emotional needs of those requesting assistance through screening, assessment, crisis intervention, referral and outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in related field, plus three years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in crisis setting or enrolled in a Master s program with two years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting.
- Must possess the ability to work in stressful situations.
- Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver s License.
- BLS required.
- It is preferred that individuals hired be eligible to obtain their Temporary Screening Certification Number upon hire and must obtain their permanent number with one (1) year.
