RX4 Inc is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground.
Our busy, growing company is currently looking for a few additional team players to fill the positions of FedEx Pick Up and Delivery Driver.
We are seeking qualified candidates for full-time and part-time positions in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and/or pick up of FedEx packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, loading, unloading and organizing their truck and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Delivery Driver responsibilities:
- Drive FedEx Ground vehicles such as step vans and box trucks.
- Able to lift 50-60lbs comfortably and maneuver up to 150lbs.
- Organize packages onto trucks
- Deliver/Pick Up packages to/from customers on assigned routes
- Utilize navigation system on an Ipad (provided for you)
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
- Assist other team members as needed
Requirements:
- Applicants must be 21
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass company driving test, background check, drug test and DOT physical required
- Self-motivated
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Team player
- Minimum 1 year’s verified experience driving a work related vehicle within the last three years is preferred but not necessary.
- Valid Class A CDL not required
Previous experience as a driver, delivery truck driver, warehouse worker, construction worker may be helpful but are not necessary.
Open to all levels of experience: entry level and above and/or military veterans. Training provided.
