YOUR ROLE
As an Excavation Foreman, you will be responsible for managing excavation projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. You will lead a team of laborers and machine operators, coordinating tasks such as digging, trenching, grading, and foundation work. Your role will involve operating and maintaining heavy machinery, troubleshooting on-site challenges, and ensuring all work complies with safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Through clear communication and strong leadership, you will keep projects on schedule while maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
YOUR SCHEDULE
This position follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime opportunities are available for those looking to take on additional work.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EXCAVATION FOREMAN
- 5 years of experience in excavation or construction, with a demonstrated track record of successful project completion
- Strong supervisory and team management skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy excavation machinery and tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Ability to think quickly and effectively address on-site challenges
- Capability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
