Position Description :
Laserflex, part of the Ryerson family of companies, has an opportunity for a Flat Laser Operator. As a Laser Operator you are responsible for machine set up, part processing and part inspection.

This position is a weekend shift. The hours for this position are Friday to Sundays 6 : 00am to 6 : 30pm.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Startup & Shutdown of laser equipment
- Set-up of correct cutting parameters and laser operation
- Maintain equipment to ensure proper working conditions
- Measure and verify that the parts produced meet print specs
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials
- Document basic material, production and quality control issues
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1- 3 years experience laser operator or similar experience preferred
- Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a strong, positive attitude
- Position requires Ramsay Assessment insert this : Successfully pass the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
