As a Production Scheduler on our winning team, you will be responsible for scheduling MP's for production, along with billing, receiving, filing and shipping. Here are the most important responsibilities you will have:
- You will oversee productivity tracking in our Ryerson Metals Processing (RMP) department
- Taking initiative will be critical; you will ensure accuracy by helping to drive down our cost and not let a supply of material run out in the plant
- You will be essential in maintaining a purchasing program for all non raw materials (this includes crating, packaging, supplies factory and supplies office)
- You will be responsible for the loading document process in the morning which includes printing certifications, test reports and delivery receipts and insuring accuracy of said documents.
- You have a drive for customer service, since you will be working with members of our warehouse team, administration, vendors, etc.
- You will receive other assigned duties from leadership
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma
High School Diploma
- Experience in billing, shipping, receiving, scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) from prior roles
- Experience working with vendors and purchasing
- Familiarity with ERP systems and demonstrated ability to learn new ERP environments
- Comfortable with working in a heavy-industrial warehouse environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational and administrative support skills
Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years
