What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk Technician position at Ryzen Solutions?
This position supports client's technical issues coming from our design projects such as Computational Design. Especially onsite support to 3D simulation tools such as Abaqus/ Hypermesh/ nTop/ VMware, to help operate local LLM/ Machine learning/ AI, and to support local devices like 3D human body scanners/ 4D motion capture equipment/ 3D printers.Candidate should be passionate about learning and have experience troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and Active Directory—onsite position.Essential Job Duties:
- Install and configure PCs, printers, and peripherals within established standards and guidelines
- Provide VIP support to executives and high-level visitor
- Install new hardware and software upgrades requested by users
- Analyze and solve technical problems by using problem-solving skills
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting via telephone, email, and using remote assistance
- Resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software
- Assist visitors and VIPs with the ongoing usability of PCs, peripheral devices, and software
- Provide on-site technical support and end-user technical training
- Provide technical support for IT services in conference rooms
- Install and perform maintenance on proprietary system/s
- Provides timely resolution of end-user problems in an accurate manner
- Manage IT assets and inventory
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree or better OR equivalent work experience with HS degree Or Military experience
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment
- 3 years of related experience
- Customer-oriented
- Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, and culturally diverse environment
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Windows 10 in the enterprise environment
- Understanding of PC technology (MS Office, Internet, Windows, Mac OS, video conference)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.13 - $35.00 per hour
