The Assistant Manager must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Our leadership roles set the best examples for the entire company. Job Duties
Assisting the Manager in the following tasks as assignments may be asked of you:
• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Work with HQ team to develop business strategies to expand our customer base,
• increase store traffic and optimize profitability. Please send your ideas as you have them.
• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain store staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Conduct performance reviews on a quarterly basis.
• Awareness of busiest days of the year, this is when you are most needed. Schedule yourself and Assistant Managers accordingly.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Works with HQ staff to maintain an enticing product offering via regular feedback. Works to determine additional needed sales and promotions.
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display methods.
• Works with the Merchandiser to accomplish merchandising efforts.
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by occasionally attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
• Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Develops an atmosphere of trust and respect amongst staff which results in positive morale.
• Generate Ideas for events, promotions, employee spifs, and customer engagement.
• Perform Onboarding and offboarding tasks as well as employee updates in paycom to maintain accurate employee records.
• Communicate to HQ on store updates, event turnouts, employee issues and successes on a regular basis via Monthly Recap Form.

• Open availability and flexibility to work nights and weekends, including opening and closing shifts to meet the needs of the business.
