Cleaning Technician

Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Technician at S & J CleanSweep, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our customers' properties. You will work as part of a team or independently, ensuring high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other cleaning materials.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.
• Transport cleaning equipment and supplies to and from job sites.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including carpet cleaning, floor waxing, and upholstery cleaning (if applicable).
• Adhere to time schedules and complete assigned tasks within the designated timeframe.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be a person with integrity.
• Must be able to work form 5pm-8pm.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
