Position: Account Specialist

This position requires an individual who is highly motivated and exhibits strong organizational & communication skills.  This individual will work directly with a major CPG (consumer product goods) company ensuring that all funding is input into their direct system and that they are staying within their budget.  Their duties will include but are not limited to providing general sales support, maintaining accurate records and files, working on manufacture billing, sales forms, and other documents in Excel as well as coordinating and attending meetings with clients.

Account Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to customer retention by strengthening relationships through account management and maintenance
  • Serves customers by responding to requests, resolving complaints, and maintaining quality service.
  • Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting, organizing, and recording data, information, and documents
  • Analyses and audits documents for researching and resolving processing problems
  • Works with client to develop annual budgeting plan and loads into appropriate systems
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, and responding to requests
  • Maintains quality service by monitoring the annual budget and advising supervisor of potential problems
  • Ensures invoices are processed and submitted for payment in timely manner

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus
  • Basic computer skills, specific to Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Previous office or business experience a plus
  • Experience using sales tracking software a plus
