Are you results-driven with a passion for project excellence and a desire to contribute to the growth of the business? We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Energy team in Columbia, South Carolina.
What You Will Do:
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the charge in driving excellence in civil engineering projects across diverse sectors within our Energy market. You'll be responsible for overseeing the design and project management of projects including nuclear, natural gas, and electricity distribution, transmission systems, DOT encroachments, renewables, mining facilities, and municipalities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of civil engineering and energy projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with local and remote teams, orchestrating seamless project execution through effective resource management and coordination.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior staff, imparting your expertise to nurture their professional growth within our dynamic engineering environment.
- Business Development: Cultivate an interest in business development, contributing to the expansion of our portfolio by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field
- You have a minimum of 6 years of related experience
- You have experience managing multi-disciplined teams both remote and local
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, a plus
