What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Cataloger position at S&S Industrial Surplus LLC?
The skills required for this position are basic computer skills (data entry, web browsing and searching, copying and saving files) and attention to detail. A basic computer skills test will be given if brought in for an interview.
Any past industrial, mechanical or electrical experience is helpful but not necessary. You will be trained to meet the requirements for the position.
This is a fairly low stress job with little to no weekend work requirements. Pay reflects starting pay range and there is a 6 month review period where pay increases can be expected if meeting job requirements.
Inventory Cataloger- JOB DESCRIPTION
Description: Inventory Cataloger. Full Time (40 hours/week). Hourly
Reports To : Warehouse & Pre Selling Supervisor
Inventory Cataloger Job Purpose: The focus of this position is to take sellable material and properly input, describe, price and display information into S&S Database for the purposes of selling the material online.
Inventory Cataloger Duties:
Inventory:
· Sort/organize incoming material
· Enter incoming material into the database accurately and efficiently
· Properly tag items for shelving and storage in warehouse
· Determine pricing for inventoried material
· Take pictures of items and import into S&S Database
· Shelve material according to instructions and type of material
· Work with management to improve processes
· Perform Repricing and fixing of older listings as directed by supervisor
Shipping:
· Backup Shipping department as needed
Other:
· Quality check items for shipment
· Any other duties as directed by supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
· The ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
o In backup shipping role this can be 50 or more pounds regularly
· The ability to safely climb stair ladders while carrying up to 30 pounds for placing and pulling inventory on shelves
Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma, Exceptional written and verbal Skills, Basic Computer and Microsoft Office Skills.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
