We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems in residential settings. Responsibilities

  • Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the optimal placement of solar systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute installation plans accurately.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for the assembly and installation of solar components.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues related to solar installations, using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights or with electrical systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial electrical work is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
  • Ability to use various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to climb roofs and lift heavy equipment as necessary.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
  • Previous experience in building or construction is advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
