Job Summary:
The On Deck Shop- Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering the most exceptional customer service to our guests and fans who come out to the ballpark, which includes being friendly, patient, outgoing and flexible.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets and interacts with guests.
- Collects Payment using the store point of sale system.
- Must possess the desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintains an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Restocks merchandise and assists with inventory procedures.
- Flexible availability- including mostly nights and weekends.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Prior cash handling and reporting experience desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel when needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
Compensation:
This position is a part-time, hourly event staff position paid at an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
