What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Sacred Heart Church?
Sacred Heart School in Sedalia, MO is seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our staff as a Custodian. The custodian will play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff. This is a part-time, hourly position. This role works up to 29 hours per week, evening shift.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Potentially assist in the setup and breakdown of events and activities.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Previous custodial experience is a plus
