Junior Buyer

Safavieh is an upscale global home furnishing, rugs & accessories company. Supplied by its own production lines from the classical rug weaving centers of the world. The company is headquartered in Port Washington, New York. Permanent showrooms are open year-round in Atlanta, Las Vegas and High Point, NC. Safavieh is looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated, and organized Junior Buyer. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service and support to wholesale clients & product development team
• Work with sales manager to develop sales and marketing collateral to send to current and prospect clients
• Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, keeping track of all deliverables and deadlines to ensure all client expectations are met, including daily communication and follow-up across various accounts and sales managers
• Day-to-day general administrative tasks

Provide timely maintenance, development and distribution of sales & inventory reports as requested

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Excel and Outlook
• Possess strong organizational skills and is detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong work ethic and be proactive to create new procedures and increase departments efficiencies
• Ability to multi-task and to follow instructions
• Ideal candidate will work well under pressure
• Must be professional and have good job stability
• Operates independently and works on own initiative

Compensation:

• $24.00-$26.00/ hour
