What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Recruiting Coordinator position at SAFE FCU?
SUMMARY:
The Recruiting Coordinator assists the VP of Human Resources in designing and implementing the recruiting strategy for SAFE. They own the responsibility of identifying, attracting, and sourcing qualified talent using different channels, databases, and social media outlets. This position works closely with leadership throughout the Credit Union to maximize hiring efficiency and foster internal career growth for employees. Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration will be key to success in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•Prioritize filling staffing needs based on market and SAFE’s goals and objectives.
•Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments
•Manage postings on various hiring sites including SAFE’s career website
•Manage/coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process including sourcing, screening applications, reviewing credit history reports, sending assessments, selecting qualified candidates, interviews, reference checks, and offers.
•Schedules interviews for hiring managers and oversees/supports preparation of interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position. Review and provide other hiring and selection materials as needed.
•Serve as brand ambassador at various events: career fairs, local job fairs and professional events to build a strong candidate pipeline
•Work with hiring managers to ensure interview question forms reflect the requirements for each position
•Collects and maintains records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork
•Work closely with the Training Manager and leadership to track and foster internal career growth for Employees
•Conducts Exit and Transfer Interviews and compiles data to identify trends
•Coordinates employee life cycle from job posting through employee onboarding in the HRIS system.
•Completes monthly and quarterly reports
•Reconcile monthly invoices for Recruiting vendors and Brand Wear
•Oversees Lands End website, allocations, and Brand Wear Team
•Assist with the STAR DAY winners and nomination awards, along with the preparation of STAR DAY.
•Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two – four years of recruiting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Microsoft Knowledge and Experience (Word and Excel) required. Detailed oriented.
