Safe Harbor Recovery, LLC is a privately owned behavioral healthcare agency located in Warren, Ohio that provides inpatient and outpatient clinical services for adult males with substance use disorders (SUD) within the community we serve.
To assist in realizing the agency mission to provide with dignity- compassionate and effective, person-centered substance use disorder treatment to all who seek it, Safe Harbor Recovery seeks to fill a full time Overnight Resident Monitor (RM) position within the organization. The ideal candidate has lived experience with Substance Use Disorders, and an understanding of the residential treatment process. The Resident Monitor will attend to the needs of adult male clients, while ensuring that they remain within authorized areas and that agency policies and procedures are always followed. The Overnight Resident Monitor performs a variety of tasks including inspection and monitoring of the male client residence, search of client belongings, supervision of client self-administration of medications, observe male client urine drug screens, regular interval bed checks and perimeter sweeps, supervise client Therapeutic Daily Assignments (TDAs), light house keeping, inventory/stocking of supplies, and monitor all clients within all areas of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an overnight, 12- hour shift position. Three nights, 36 hour per week.
Monitor facility and clients during overnight/ non-business hours, by remaining visible and accessible, performing bed checks and perimeter sweeps, securing doors and monitoring security systems.
Observe and document client self-administration of medications
Ensure all agency policies and procedures are being adhered to
Document and report any behavioral problems and/or irregularities to program staff
Ensure the safety and security of program clients during non-business hours
Perform regular interval bed checks and room searches, in collaboration with the Clinical Team
Perform Therapeutic Daily Activity explanation and completion process
Assist program staff with administering Urine Drug Screens and/or BAC screens to the male population
Record keeping and clerical functions such as filing, faxing, copying, scanning
Perform other assigned duties as necessary to accomplish agency mission, vision, goals, and objectives- under the direction of the clinical supervisor
Requirements:
HS diploma or G.E.D.
Lived Experience with and recovery from Substance Use Disorders
Knowledge of the SUD Residential Treatment Process
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
CPR/FIRST AID/NARCAN/BLS training required and provided
De-escalation techniques and training required and provided
