What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual (English and Spanish) Clinical Therapist position at Safe Place Counseling?
We are looking for a Bilingual Clinical Therapist to provide immediate assistance to our clients and who is committed to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate, and person-centered care. The ideal therapist is passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and providing care based on the foundation of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration. Candidate will complete psychotherapy sessions on clients in service as well as clients by referral. Candidate will also be a patient focused self-starter with the ability to work independently while still being a part of a very supportive team. Experience working with families and play therapy is a strong plus.

Responsibilities of the position include providing individual therapy, as well as some psychosocial assessments. The position includes working with children, adolescents and adults via in-person (preferred) and telehealth.
Therapist Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly in English and in Spanish.
- Detail-oriented, compassionate, and empathetic.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education and Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field, with licensure as LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, or LMFT in the State of Texas
- Candidate with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in psychology or a related field, are also encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
