What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Safe Swim?
We are a high quality, community-based swim lesson school looking to hire some amazing educators to join our team at Safe Swim. We are a tiny business but our big mission is to make swimming accessible for all people.
Our program is different from most swim schools- we teach "survival" skills with trauma-informed practices, offer multilingual instruction/communication, affordable low-cost lessons and multicultural work environment.
No swim experience is required- we are happy to teach you all aquatic skills, including how to swim if you are not currently able.

Reliability, willingness to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment and commitment to growth are musts.
Bilingual/multilingual applicants (any combination of English, Spanish, Portuguese) are preferred (other languages welcome!).
Pay is $17-19/hr, work shifts are 8 am-12pm weekdays and Saturdays or 3-7 pm in Metairie.
