What You'll Do:
As an Armed Security Guard with Safeguard Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to potential security threats. You'll be a visible and reassuring presence, deterring unauthorized activities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid NYS Security Armed Guard License.
- Proven experience in armed security or a related field/Law Enforcement.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally and de-escalation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
Duties
- Provide armed security services to protect individuals and property
- Patrol designated areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify potential security risks
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents
Skills
- Must possess a valid armed guard certificate/license
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control and other security equipment
- Experience in law enforcement, or military service is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Excellent surveillance skills to identify potential threats or suspicious activities
