Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000
The primary function of the Development Coordinator is to aid the Development Manager in organizing, implementing, and tracking SafeSpace, Inc's fundraising initiatives. This role will schedule and plan fundraising events and monitor staff and volunteer attendance. This includes accurate and timely data entry into the FundEZ database for fundraising, relationship management, and thanking donors. This position will also aid in developing donors, volunteers, and resources and implementing the communication plan.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Agency's FundEZ donor database by entering & updating donor and constituent information.
- Update and maintain financial exports of donor cash receipts.
- Prepare donor acknowledgments and other correspondence.
- Create and maintain registration tracking for events, including but not limited to participants, sponsors, partners, and in-kinds.
Communication Responsibilities:
- Continuously update and maintain the website.
- Coordinate and manage social media campaigns and communication plans, including initiating approved social media postings, increasing followers, and active interaction by members of the organization, tri-county community, and inter-agency partners.
- Create and edit specific donor reports, presentations, and materials.
- Publish quarterly newsletters, annual impact reports, and other general communications and reports.
- Maintain and update all marketing materials.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all tasks in this position.
Community Responsibilities:
- Aid in developing and executing fundraising campaigns and events, including researching and managing timelines, budgets, and related materials.
- Attend and aid with events, set-up & breakdown, including but not limited to organizing supplies for events facilitated by staff and volunteers.
- Attend events and community meetings. Represent SafeSpace, as assigned by Development Manager, and report specific content and submit agendas back to Development Manager.
- Identify and attend networking events, representing SafeSpace.
- Aid with the planning and coordinating annual fundraising events and other resource development and volunteer activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fundraising, Communications or a related field
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in development or fundraising role.
- Proven history managing successful fundraising campaigns.
- Knowledge of graphic design is helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
