Job Description:

Swim Instructors are responsible for providing the highest quality skill-based swim lessons to our swim families and we train you how to do this. We have a fantastic culture and love our staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner while ensuring swimmer safety
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to swimmers on their skill/technique efforts.
- Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
- Obtain proper equipment and utilize time organization to ensure timely starts and ends to classes.
- Provide swimmer’s guardians with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash ‘N Tell week.
- Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
- Love working with children and seeing them develop and grow.
- 3 years of swimming and/or teaching experience required.
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
