Job Duties: Responsible for supporting the design and construction of test cell and civil works portions of equipment projects, building design and equipment interfaces during sales campaigns and throughout project delivery. Contribute to team efforts by assisting with weekly coordination meetings, monthly safety meetings, and design review meetings. Assist with defining scope, producing request for quote (RFQ) integrating all technical & quality specifications and design charrettes and design review meetings. Liaise with local architect/engineer(s) during design development. Support management of construction services through the review of subcontractor deliverables, requests for information, and construction documentation. Conduct facility and equipment inspections and participate in a continuous improvement culture providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures. Support after-hour phone calls and meetings as required. Understand all aspects of the general contract, including each subcontract, the contract drawings, specifications and addenda. Examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and propose solutions to correct them. Ensure a current time program (schedule) is maintained and adhered to during construction and take appropriate action if the program schedule is not followed. Manage contractor change requests and provide estimations of labor. Write scope of work documents related to test cell construction.
Compensation includes a base salary of $105,000 per year to $112,000 per year. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as selected candidate's experience.

Qualifications:
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in the design and engineering functioning of jet engine test cells. Stated experience must include: experience with electrical codes specifically relating to hazardous areas; experience with embedded conduits, embedded boxes and routing and wiring throughout test cell facility and control building; experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
