What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Administrator position at Safran Water and Waste Systems?
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Administrator's main responsibility is to assist in the coordination of Supply Chain activities at Safran Water and Waste Systems in the Carson, CA location.
- Support the Supply Chain Team on different processes :
- Return to Vendor (RTV) : Ensure daily to send back defective parts to the suppliers
- PO problem rack : Coordinate the resolution of receiving issues with the buyers, the suppliers and the receiving team
- Support the PO placement / update for the special projects : 4185, dual source, ..
- Support crisis reporting : 787 recovery
- Maintain M3 parameters up to date : Lead times, Prices, Batch size,
- Assess current status of WWS activities performed locally
- Validate product list and suppliers
- Confirm Purchase Orders from WWS and track schedule to completion
- Other task as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, preferred Computer Skills: Familiar with Windows Operating System® and Office XP® (especially Excel®). Basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Other Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle projects and assignments with attention to detail Problem solving and well organized Analytic skill ERP M3 knowledge Communication Additional Preferred Skills: (not required) •5 years of experience
