What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Staff position at Safta?
Pomegranate Hospitality is looking for Support team members for Safta, a Modern Israeli restaurant in RiNo opened by James Beard Award-Winning Chef, Alon Shaya.
Overview: Support Team Members must possess the ability to multitask and have a high degree of organizational skills in order to ensure guest satisfaction. They will be responsible for supporting servers in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables. Duties include communicating with servers to determine their needs, carrying food items from the expediting counter to the right table and helping with cleanup duties after the conclusion of service. Above all, the Support staff must do all to contribute to a positive work environment as set forth by the culture and values of Pomegranate Hospitality.
What we hope you bring to the team:
- Ability to deliver food orders to guests quickly and accurately
- Capable of upholding sanitation and food safety principles
- Ability to clear, clean, and reset tables
- Ability to check in with guests to ensure their experience is satisfactory
- Answer any questions from guests
- Refill guests drinks as needed
- Ability to handle various impromptu requests from customers
- Use effective communication to relay reports of guests satisfaction or complaints to the leadership team
- Ability to stand 8 hours and lift 35 pounds
