SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Food Service Director to join our team at a prestigious multi-campus private school in Albuquerque. As a part of our team, you’ll benefit from the school’s schedule, which includes being off for major holidays.
The Assistant Food Service Director will manage catering services, collaborate with the chef on menu development, budget for events, and ensure the accuracy of invoicing. This role also includes overseeing event setups, decor, and production. Additionally, the AFSD will lead the coffee shop, create seasonal specials, drive marketing efforts, and manage pricing.

What you'll do:
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills and develop client relationships.
- Assist in general location management as part of the SAGE management team.
- Assist in ordering and inventory management, scheduling, catering and production, as needed.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
- Implement and maintain HACCP standards.
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, training, and ongoing mentoring of the team.
- Lead by example.
What you'll need:
- Culinary degree preferred, but not required.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Fluency in sanitation and safety standards.
- Dynamic get-it-done work ethic.
