Paint, maintain, and repair all corridors, rooms, and public areas in accordance with all maintenance procedures/ standards and safety & security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Paint, maintain, and repair all painted, stained, and varnished surfaces throughout the hotel
- Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools, including measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing pain, using brushes, and rollers
- Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including wallpaper and fabric wall coverings
- Maintain and repair grouted, wood, and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering
- Notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.)
- Attend safety meetings & other related meetings.
- Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Experience
Prior janitorial/ custodial/ painting experience desirable.
Knowledge/Skills
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Ability to meet standards of appearance.
- Can communicate well with guests.
- Ability to respond requests and questions.
- Ability to assess required reaction to meet standards.
- Minimal speech communication skills to utilize alternate communication.
- Minimal literacy necessary; can utilize alternate training tools.
