SAIC’s Business Development organization is seeking a Pricing Senior Principal to support high-priority proposal activities spanning our diverse range of government and commercial customers. The Pricing Senior Principal will work independently supporting the largest and most complex proposals in the enterprise throughout the full proposal lifecycle pre-RFP analysis and comment/question preparation, strategy development, RFP analysis, estimating and pricing model development, business case analysis, executive reviews, proposal finalization, and post-submit activities.
Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, collaborative, critical thinking, and problem solving experience. Candidates must also work well under pressure, given the complexity of engagements and proposal deadlines.
This position is 100% remote nationwide.

SAIC’s Business Development organization is seeking a Pricing Senior Principal to support high-priority proposal activities spanning our diverse range of government and commercial customers. Typical Responsibilities Include
- Actively engage with Business Group Leadership to cultivate effective cost and price strategies
- Independently assess DRFP/RFP documentation, identifying the appropriate cost/price strategies and associated tactical approaches
- Collaborate with estimators to assemble labor and/or material costs, projecting the impact of pricing changes on revenue/profit, including multiple-outcome business case analysis
- Support the development and integration of emerging business model strategies (which may include, but not limited to XaaS, Managed Services, Platform Integration, or OTAs)
- Serve as a thought leader within the department, and may engage on special projects, training, and other related support functions
- Coordinate with Pricing Management to prioritize concurrent proposal activities
- Perform compliance, strategic and risk-based reviews of other proposals as needed
- Mentor and train junior staff
Required Education and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field, and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience, Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience. Additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree
- Extensive experience in competitive federal government contract pricing
- Experience with multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.) with varying degree of complexities
- Effective administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Effective critical thinking skills and ability to assimilate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong team player
- Attention to detail
- Experience with PowerQuery, SQL or other data management experience a plus
- Proficiency in COTS pricing tools such as Excel, ProPricer, or other related tools
- Experience with Project Planning / Program Controls a plus
