Salary Range: $17.33 – $18.57 per hour
(This is a 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM Wednesday - Sunday schedule with Monday and Tuesday off.)
Do you have experience working in human services? Are you looking to turn your desire to help people experiencing homelessness into a career? If so, St. Francis House is looking for a Guest Engagement Liaison!
The Guest Engagement Liaison is the front line of staff in St. Francis House. The Guest Engagement Liaisons work to engage guest experiencing homelessness who may not otherwise use case management, housing, and workforce development services. The Guest Engagement Liaisons support shelter operations through activities, such as scanning, screening membership cards, assessments, active engagement, and referrals to other support systems throughout the building.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in human services a plus.
- One to three years’ experience working in human services with vulnerable populations.
- Experience working with adult homeless population preferred.
- Experience with de-escalation techniques or crisis intervention preferred.
- Lived experience of homelessness and/or recovery a plus.
