JOB DESCRIPTION
SSD’s Homebound department supports students who cannot access services in a school setting through an innovative, compassionate, and student-centered approach. Homebound teachers implement programs that fit the needs of each student, report on their progress, and deliver on the promise of helping every student excel to their greatest potential.
As an hourly teacher, you will serve students across St. Louis County, act as their liaison between home and school, and strive to ensure they receive what they need to continue to learn and grow. Frequent collaboration with families, classroom teachers, counselors, and principals and constant travel are required.
